Hi Paul,

Just found your blog via Google - excellent blog.

I am with a software company called Accompa - we make software that helps product managers manage requirements.

When we talk to our prospective customers, we sometimes run into situations where they've built a tool in the past (a lot of money invested), but are not able to do upkeep and maintenance - and also not able to train their users. This becomes an even bigger issue as the folks who built it leave the company. Having seen this many times, I agree 100% with your thoughts!

BTW, our requirements tracking software is very inexpensive and we offer a 30-day trial. I invite you to check it out at the following link:
<a href="http://www.accompa.com" rel="nofollow"> Accompa Requirements Tracking Software</a>

(P.S. Out software is designed for product managers to manage requirements - and focuses on only that)
